Compliance SHEQ Manager

Responsibilities

• Deliver a compliant Safety, Environmental and Facilities Management System for site
• Advise site management on strategies to mitigate health, safety, and environmental risks
• Ensure site compliance as a COMAH operator to prevent major accidents
• Develop programs to ensure plant and machinery are safe and legally compliant
• Conduct effective accident and incident investigations
• Maintain contractor management and permit to work programs
• Facilitate employee consultation and promote a positive safety culture
• Design and deliver bespoke Safety Training programs
• Conduct inspections and audits aligned to relevant standards
• Produce and analyze KPIs to drive performance improvement

Requirements

• Minimum NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
• Educated to A-level standard or equivalent
• Detailed knowledge of risk management frameworks
• Comprehensive knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements
• Practical understanding of equipment and facilities management
• Experience presenting to senior stakeholders
• Proficiency in digital tools and systems
• Experience in COMAH or high-risk regulated industries (desired)
• Working knowledge of Warehouse and Logistics operations (desired)
