Compliance Oversight Testing Officer

Responsibilities

• Execute the Group Compliance Oversight Testing Plan by leading and managing oversight test reviews
• Conduct oversight testing of key AML and Regulatory Compliance functions to assess process controls
• Maintain testing schedules and communication plans with key stakeholders
• Validate test results and provide guidance to stakeholders on Group standards and best practices
• Follow up on identified issues to ensure they are tracked and reported to appropriate seniority levels
• Perform trend analysis on compliance testing results for internal reporting
• Prepare and present compliance testing reports and findings to senior management
• Assist in the development and revision of the annual compliance testing plan
• Collaborate with Operational Risk and Internal Audit to minimize testing overlap
• Lead or assist in investigations regarding regulatory or policy breaches

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in the financial services industry with a focus on monitoring and testing
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Strong knowledge of AML and Regulatory Compliance
• Deep understanding of Bahrain AML/CFT laws and regulations
• Knowledge of international AML/CFT laws and best practices
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in overseeing projects across multiple jurisdictions is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as ACAMS, ICA, or CIA
