Compliance Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor anti-abuse signals, logs, and alerts to identify and mitigate potential abuse
• Investigate compliance and deliverability-impacting abuse events and perform incident triage
• Monitor signal health and partner with Engineering and Security to implement signal tuning
• Enhance compliance workflows, tools, and playbooks, including the integration of AI
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Security, and Customer Success teams
• Coordinate with external vendors and represent the company in anti-abuse communities
• Document case notes, runbooks, and internal training guides

Requirements

• 3+ years in technical SaaS, anti-abuse, trust & safety, or compliance operations
• Proficiency in data analysis and working with infrastructure-level behavioral data
• SQL or equivalent query experience
• AI fluency and experience using LLMs or AI-assisted tools for investigation
• Experience with anti-abuse/fraud tools like Sift or Stripe Radar
• Understanding of fraud landscapes, security protocols, and messaging compliance (email, SMS)
• Familiarity with log analysis or SIEM-style tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog)
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Zendesk, and Salesforce

Preferred Qualifications

• Active participation in anti-abuse industry groups like M3AAWG
• Experience with SMS/MMS technologies or technical writing
• Proficiency in Python, pandas, or BI tools like Looker or Tableau
• Experience with workflow automation tools like Zapier
