Compliance Officer

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert for regulations applying to market infrastructure and investment strategies, specifically focusing on systematic, Delta 1, index, and macro strategies.
• Provide compliance advice and training to investment personnel and manage live trading queries.
• Review and provide input for the approval of new investment instruments, products, strategies, technology, models, and trading venues.
• Serve as an escalation point for compliance monitoring, testing, risk assessments, trade surveillance, and control evaluations.
• Act as the first line of contact for exchange and regulator queries related to market activity.
• Lead regulatory change initiatives related to market structure and investment regulations.
• Support control room functions including wall crosses, market soundings, and MNPI management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5-7 years of experience, preferably within a multi-manager firm, covering systematic trading or similar strategies.
• Practical knowledge of market structures, products, quantitative methods, models, and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with non-equity market mechanics across asset classes such as futures, fixed income, credit, rates, FX, commodities, and equity index derivatives.
• Strong ability to manage a diverse workload in a fast-paced, structured, and methodical environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff of varying seniority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with utilizing various AI elements.
• Basic coding capabilities.
