Compliance Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage APAC Control Room activities, including wall crosses, market soundings, MNPI, and confidential information controls.
• Maintain the restricted list and manage control room restrictions.
• Liaise with broader compliance teams and various departments to assist with SFC filings and internal inquiries.
• Review and enhance internal compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine internal compliance monitoring and reviews.
• Track and support regulatory change initiatives related to market structure and investments in Hong Kong.
• Collaborate with the Global Markets Compliance team and the wider APAC compliance department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in compliance.
• Knowledge of SFC filings and regulations.
• Experience with control room restrictions and approving deals for investment teams.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proficiency with Confluence, JIRA, and various AI models.
• Highly self-motivated, organized, and attentive to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage staff of varying seniority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within global matrix organizational structures.
• Experience adopting workflow management toolkits and new technologies.
• Familiarity with the multi-manager hedge fund model.
