Compliance Officer - Regulatory

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing and upcoming regulations and translate requirements into practical business and control measures
• Lead the implementation of regulatory changes and ensure alignment with trading strategies
• Act as the primary senior compliance advisor to the Trading department on complex matters
• Own, maintain, and enhance the regulatory compliance framework
• Draft, review, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal control documentation
• Provide independent challenge and second-line oversight to business initiatives
• Specialize in digital asset compliance, advising on MiCAR and MiFID II frameworks
• Engage directly with regulators, exchanges, and other regulatory stakeholders
• Conduct regulatory risk assessments and monitor ongoing compliance
• Develop and deliver regulatory and compliance training across the organization

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance within financial markets
• University degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of European regulatory frameworks (Wft, MiFID II/MiFIR, EMIR, MAR, SSR, MiCAR, DORA)
• Proven experience drafting and implementing compliance policies
• Experience interacting directly with regulators and managing inspections or audits
• Experience advising business stakeholders in a global financial or exchange-trading environment
• Strong understanding of financial instruments and financial markets
• Strong interest in and affinity with Digital Assets
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
