Compliance Officer & MLRO

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and revise compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Oversee client and business partner onboarding, conduct of business monitoring, and regulatory reporting
• Conduct due diligence and ongoing AML reviews for clients and business partners
• Serve as the primary point of contact with regulators for AML/CFT and sanctions matters
• Lead regulatory communications, correspondence, and meetings with authorities
• Monitor and enhance systems to identify and mitigate AML risks
• Prepare compliance reports for senior management, auditors, and regulatory bodies
• Review marketing materials to ensure regulatory compliance
• Oversee compliance progress across multiple jurisdictions

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
• At least 2 years in a compliance and AML-focused role within wealth management or investments
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
• Qualified CISI or ACAMS professional
• Strong technical knowledge of AML/CFT, sanctions, conduct of business rules, FATCA/CRS, and data protection
• Experience with DIFC or ADGM regulatory frameworks (Category 3C or 4 preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in compliance consultancies supporting Category 3C or 4 firms within ADGM or DIFC
• Experience in financial institutions
