About the role

Responsibilities

  • Review policies and procedures, conduct research on local requirements, and perform gap analyses.
  • Implement local regulatory requirements into firm systems and controls.
  • Draft and prepare regulatory periodic deliverables and communications.
  • Perform controls and monitoring of the 1LoD and assist the AMLCO on escalations regarding EDD, PEPs, and sanctions.
  • Liaise with local regulators and FIUs in France.
  • Review SARs and support the drafting of external SARs to the FIUs.
  • Investigate potential breaches of policies and procedures and handle complaints.
  • Translate local reporting requirements into operational guidelines.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry with a focus on regulatory and AML compliance.
  • Significant experience dedicated to the French market and French regulatory authorities.
  • Professional certification such as CAMS or an equivalent AML designation.
  • Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken).
  • Proven ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and implement operational solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Economics, or Finance is preferred.
