About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver assurance test programmes to evaluate regulatory Compliance and Conduct risk
- Conduct Regulatory and Conduct Monitoring reviews in line with Compliance Monitoring methodology
- Produce high quality reports articulating conclusions and measurement of regulatory risk
- Provide recommendations to the business based on monitoring findings
- Assist the Group Head of Compliance in delivering delegated responsibilities and act as a deputy
- Contribute to the design of the Compliance Monitoring Annual Plan
- Maintain accurate records of open findings and manage the tracking process
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Compliance Monitoring Manager or equivalent
- Previous experience working within Financial Services and a regulated environment
- Extensive knowledge of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and its regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of regulatory and conduct risk within an Enterprise Risk Management Framework
- Project management skills with ability to drive delivery against milestones
- Excellent strategic communication, relationship building, and influencing skills
- In-depth understanding of the UK regulatory framework
