About the Company

Transak provides onboarding to financial applications through authentication, KYC, risk checks, and fiat on/off ramps. Their API and widget-based solutions are used by top partners like MetaMask, Coinbase, Ledger, and Trust Wallet to enable seamless onboarding of over 10 million users.

Responsibilities

• Apply for, maintain, and vary regulatory licenses in accordance with business requirements
• Act as the main point-of-contact with FINTRAC
• Receive, assess, and investigate suspicious activity escalations and draft SARs/STRs
• Oversee high-risk KYB, corporate/OTC KYB, and EDD workflows
• Calibrate country level requirements for PEPs and sanctions screening
• Act as primary contact for regulators and auditors during inspections and audits
• Define AML/CFT, sanctions, and licensing requirements for new product features
• Deliver AML/CFT, sanctions, and risk-awareness training to internal teams

Requirements

• 5–7+ years in AML/CFT, compliance, or financial crime
• Experience as MLRO, Deputy MLRO, or senior Compliance Officer
• Demonstrated experience managing licenses and regulatory obligations in Canada
• Proven experience in SAR/STR drafting and investigative work
• Experience handling audits, inspections, and regulator interactions
• Crypto industry experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ICA or ACAMS certification
• Blockchain analytics exposure
• Experience in product compliance or technical environments
