Compliance Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day export and import compliance activities for manufacturing sites in Tianjin, Suzhou, and Bangkok.
• Prepare and process all necessary export and import documentation and declarations.
• Oversee accurate HS, COO, and Dual-Use/ECCN classifications in coordination with relevant functions.
• Manage Know Your Customer (KYC) processes and facilitate vetting of third-party business partners and suppliers.
• Interface with government authorities, including China Customs and MOFCOM, as required.
• Establish and oversee internal audit processes for trade compliance and perform Restricted Party Screening.
• Draft and maintain trade compliance policies, procedures, and provide regular training to functional departments.
• Facilitate Compliance Risk Assessments (CRA) and implement necessary remediation.

Requirements

• Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
• University degree in logistics, supply chain, international business, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of China import/export regulations and U.S. regulations including EAR, OFAC, HTS, and dual-use/ECCN.
• Strong understanding of global trade, international shipping (incoterms), and customs procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence leadership and peers.
• Highly organized with proven project management experience and a high level of ethics.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4-6 years of professional experience in trade compliance and anti-corruption.
• Fluency in Thai in addition to Mandarin and English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
