Compliance Manager

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with FDCPA, CFPB, TCPA, GLBA, UDAAP, and state-level debt collection laws
• Support implementation and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and control frameworks
• Conduct internal audits of account activity and communication logs
• Manage and prepare for external audits by clients or regulators
• Investigate, document, and respond to consumer complaints from various channels
• Analyze complaint trends and propose corrective actions
• Develop and deliver compliance training modules for new hires and ongoing certification
• Identify potential compliance risks and escalate concerns with mitigation strategies
• Ensure third-party vendors adhere to company security and privacy protocols

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3–5 years of experience in compliance or risk management within debt collection
• Deep knowledge of FDCPA, CFPB, TCPA, and UDAAP regulations
• Strong analytical and investigative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
