Compliance Lead (RPAS) – Robotics

Responsibilities

• Support the Chief Pilot in maintaining CASA compliance and governance across all RPAS operations under our ReOC
• Lead compliance and capability projects, including new platform inductions, approvals, and operational improvements
• Manage pilot records, currency requirements, and competency activities across the national pilot workforce
• Deliver UAV field operations, asset inspections, and condition assessments across a variety of projects and locations
• Ensure operational assets are maintained in a safe and airworthy condition
• Mentor and coach UAV Operators, promoting best practice and a strong safety culture
• Build strong relationships with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders
• Lead risk identification, incident response, and quality activities

Requirements

• CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL)
• Tertiary qualification in Aviation, Engineering, Aerospace, Robotics, or related discipline
• Demonstrated experience as a senior UAV operator
• Strong knowledge of CASA regulations and CASR Part 101
• Experience mentoring or supervising pilots or field-based technical teams
• Full unrestricted Australian driver's licence

Preferred Qualifications

• Broader aviation experience
• Type ratings across multi-rotor and fixed-wing platforms
• BVLOS, controlled airspace, or night operations experience
