Compliance Lead, Prediction Markets

Responsibilities

• Build, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program for the prediction markets product
• Advise on CFTC compliance for event contracts, including product structure, contract terms, and market rules
• Assist with regulatory registrations, applications, and filings
• Draft and update policies, procedures, rulebooks, and terms and conditions governing product trading
• Review marketing and advertising materials for compliance with CFTC and NFA rules
• Interface with regulators and self-regulatory organizations to prepare for engagements and examinations
• Partner with risk, operations, IT, and external counsel to mitigate regulatory risk while supporting commercial objectives

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in regulatory, compliance, or legal work involving CFTC-regulated products (e.g., DCMs, FCMs, or prediction markets)
• Strong working knowledge of the Commodity Exchange Act and CFTC and NFA rules
• Experience building or maintaining a compliance program, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment
• Proven track record of standing up compliant products and operations under federal regulatory frameworks
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex regulations into practical business guidance
• Solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with limited precedent

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the regulatory frameworks applicable to event contracts and prediction markets
• Experience in the gaming, sports betting, or fantasy sports industries
