Compliance Governance & Oversight Lead

Responsibilities

• Set the strategy for compliance governance and oversight across the Integrity & Compliance function
• Own the end-to-end policy lifecycle including drafting, approval, and accessibility
• Lead the selection, implementation, and administration of the GRC platform
• Design and execute controls testing and monitoring programs
• Manage the compliance training program and develop evidence of regulatory compliance
• Drive issue management, including documentation, escalation, and remediation
• Build metrics, dashboards, and reporting for leadership and Internal Audit
• Coordinate responses to compliance-related due diligence requests
• Manage the I&C budget and vendor portfolio
• Build and develop the Governance & Oversight team

Requirements

• Significant experience in compliance, risk, or internal audit leadership
• Proven track record of building or scaling a compliance program end-to-end
• Deep knowledge of policy management, training, and controls testing
• Experience implementing and operating GRC technology platforms
• Experience presenting compliance reporting to senior leadership or boards
• Strong ability to translate compliance requirements into operating processes
• Experience building and developing teams

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Prior experience at a Big 4 or comparable professional services firm
• Experience leading compliance at a high-growth technology company
• Exposure to AI-specific compliance and emerging regulatory landscapes
• Experience standing up or transforming functions in hyper-scaling environments
