Compliance Expert

Responsibilities

• Monitor ongoing business operations and conduct internal audits to ensure regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with Product, Client Services, Marketing, Operations, and Trading departments to uphold legal standards
• Support the compliance team in interactions with external auditors and regulatory authorities
• Implement new regulatory requirements, specifically focusing on MiFID 2 and WpHG
• Conduct employee training sessions and assist in developing internal documentation
• Drive the digitalization and automation of compliance processes using modern tools and AI-driven approaches
• Focus on securities and capital market compliance, including trade monitoring (MAR), product governance, and client asset protection

Requirements

• Completed degree in Law, Economics, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a related field
• Proven professional experience in Compliance or Audit within a regulated financial environment, law firm, or auditing firm
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
• Interest in process automation and experience with software-based tools (AI/LLM experience is a plus)
• Fluency in German (minimum C1 level) and English
