Compliance Engineer - Export Control

Responsibilities

• Manage export license requests for dual-use goods, military equipment, and sanctioned operations.
• Monitor, renew, and report on licenses to ensure real-time compliance.
• Classify products (hardware, software, technology) according to EU and international regulations (ITAR, EAR, etc.).
• Screen restricted parties including clients, suppliers, and partners.
• Advise internal teams (engineering, R&D, procurement, logistics) on regulatory requirements.
• Verify compliance of contracts, commercial offers, and shipping documents.
• Design and lead training sessions on export control to strengthen compliance culture.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in export control or compliance.
• Knowledge of European dual-use regulations and French frameworks (SBDU, DGA).
• Understanding of international sanction regimes (EU, UN, USA).
• Knowledge of EAR and ITAR regulations is a plus.
• Proficiency in French and English (written and oral).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
