About the role
Responsibilities
- Administer the company’s corporate compliance and accreditation program
- Lead, develop, and build structure within the Compliance team
- Provide advice, education, and guidance to employees on compliance and ethical standards
- Guide monitoring, investigations, audits, and corrective action plans
- Develop annual and quarterly compliance risk assessments and reviews
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance, and Regulatory departments to ensure policy consistency
- Develop and implement company policies within state/federal Medicaid/Medicare requirements
- Manage the Company’s accreditation status and state licensure
- Interface with legal counsel and federal, state, and local agencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of management experience in healthcare compliance
- Extensive knowledge of False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback statute, and HIPAA
- Understanding of AdvaMed Code of Ethics and Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Juris Doctor or other graduate degree
- Healthcare Compliance Certification (CHC, CHPC, or CCEP)
