About the role
Responsibilities
- Assess Health & Safety in the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain training records and safety documentation in line with legislative requirements
- Develop and audit a Site Safety Management Plan (SMP)
- Coordinate implementation of Health & Safety and Food Safety (BRCGS) programs
- Assist in incident investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions
- Complete site inspections on time and maintain safety boards and communication zones
Requirements
- Experience in a similar health and safety role
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite
- Organized and methodical approach
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations is advantageous
Preferred Qualifications
- IOSH qualification
