Compliance Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Develop, set up, and maintain the local Compliance Management System (CMS) to meet internal and external requirements.
• Prepare annual compliance measure plans in coordination with Group Compliance functions.
• Act as a data privacy advocate to identify and address privacy risks within specific departments.
• Monitor changes in BMW Group compliance policies and draft or implement local company policies.
• Oversee data privacy processes, including privacy impact assessments and project reviews.
• Advise the legal entity on information protection security levels and execute assigned protection tasks.
• Assist in identifying and recording risks and information classifications.
• Coordinate updates to data privacy notices in collaboration with external consultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Administration, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in a compliance function.
• Fluent English (both spoken and written).
• Strong logical and precise argumentation skills.
• Ability to demonstrate assertiveness and constructive conflict management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant field.
• Professional certification in Compliance, Data Privacy, or Antitrust.
