Responsibilities

• Support People Operations with a focus on employment compliance and strategic benefits administration
• Monitor regulatory changes and manage required reporting and documentation
• Draft new policies and update the employee handbook to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws
• Manage employee benefits programs including health, retirement, and leave programs
• Serve as the primary resource for employee questions regarding benefits and life events
• Strategically recommend new benefit offerings and execute feedback via surveys
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and support compliance filings
• Support employees in other states and countries

Requirements

• 3-5 years of specialized experience in HR Compliance and Benefits Administration
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g. FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ACA)
• Experience administering employee benefits programs, life events, and open enrollment
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems
• Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion
• Customer-centric mindset and positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HRIS implementation or optimization
• Experience with multi-state employment law
• Global benefits administration experience
• Knowledge of ERISA and 401(k) compliance and filings
