Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer profiles and transactional activity to identify potential financial crime risks
• Review escalated alerts and provide recommendations for further investigation or closure
• Support the preparation of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) when applicable
• Interpret regulatory updates and assess their impact on internal AML frameworks
• Evaluate product and service risk exposure in line with AML policies
• Prepare clear and concise summaries of findings for internal stakeholders and compliance committees

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, International Relations, or a related field
• Experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance and financial crime investigations
• Working knowledge of BSA and OFAC regulations
• Hands-on experience with transaction monitoring systems and alert investigation processes
• Experience with Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) drafting and escalation
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) certification or equivalent in progress
• Familiarity with Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes and controls
• Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks such as FATF, EU AML Directives, or FinCEN
