Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the review and update of compliance policies, procedures, and training materials
• Compile and coordinate internal compliance reports and periodic disclosures
• Manage wall-crossing processes and maintain restricted and watch lists
• Support operational compliance frameworks, including personal account dealing
• Assist in the preparation and validation of regulatory filings for UK, EU, US, and other regimes
• Respond to regulatory enquiries and counterparty due diligence requests
• Coordinate mandatory compliance training and attestations
• Provide compliance advice to trading desks regarding short selling, market abuse, and other queries

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a relevant legal or compliance role
• Experience working in a Control Room environment with understanding of restricted lists and ECM strategies
• Hands-on experience managing the wall-crossing process
• Experience interacting directly with trading desks in fast-paced environments
• Ability to work independently as the sole compliance team member in the APAC region
• Practical knowledge of AI technologies for regulatory research and process automation
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical skills in Excel, SQL, or Python
• Business proficiency in Cantonese and written Chinese
