Compliance Analyst, FIU

Responsibilities

• Analyze, review, and investigate transaction monitoring alerts using tools such as Elliptic, TRM Labs, and Unit21 to identify financial crime red flags.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and investigation packages for complex cases.
• Monitor wider platform activity, including sanctions screening, negative news, and internal/external referrals.
• Collaborate with the Compliance team on risk rule calibration, detection scenario enhancements, and quality assurance.
• Drive the integration of transaction monitoring vendors into BitGo systems.
• Draft and update Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) procedures and participate in AML training efforts.
• Maintain expertise in AML typologies related to cryptocurrency, correspondent banking, and high-risk jurisdictions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in AML transaction monitoring and investigations.
• 2+ years of experience using blockchain analytics tools (e.g., Elliptic, TRM Labs, Chainalysis).
• Strong knowledge of global AML regulatory requirements and expectations.
• Excellent investigative, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in the Bangalore office from 12 PM to 9 PM IST.
• Proven ability to manage multiple alerts within strict timelines and work independently.
