Compliance Analyst - AML & Crypto Risk

Responsibilities

• Investigate flagged client accounts by analyzing both crypto and fiat transactions to uncover potential AML/CTF risks
• Carry out comprehensive KYT, KYC, CDD, EDD, and SOF/SOW checks, with an emphasis on VASP risk exposure
• Assess high-value crypto deposit and withdrawal requests using blockchain analytics and AI-powered risk scoring
• Screen clients and wallets against PEP lists, global sanctions databases, and dark web exposures
• Prepare detailed internal compliance reports, suspicious transaction reports (STRs), and regulatory filings
• Collaborate with product teams to provide guidance on crypto AML/CTF compliance and risk mitigation strategies

Requirements

• University degree in finance, economics, law, risk management, or a related field
• 5+ years of compliance experience within the crypto, blockchain, or fintech industry
• Strong knowledge of AML/CTF regulations, VASP obligations, and FATF recommendations
• Proven experience with blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, TRM Labs, or Elliptic
• Proficiency in Excel and the ability to analyze complex datasets
• Fluent English communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
