Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Review and process consumer and commercial complaints for internal and external accounts
• Place accounts on compliance hold when necessary to ensure collection efforts cease during investigations
• Escalate complaints to clients within required timelines and ensure timely resolution
• Investigate account concerns by collaborating with internal departments, legal partners, and client representatives
• Prepare and send compliance-related correspondence, including debt validation and resolution letters
• Review and process disputes and fraud claims accurately within client service level expectations
• Track account activity and maintain accurate case documentation
• Perform administrative support duties including document preparation, scanning, and mail processing
• Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting
• Professional approach to handling sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in compliance, collections, legal support, banking, or financial services
• Experience reviewing disputes, fraud claims, or consumer complaints
• Familiarity with consumer protection regulations and compliance processes
