Compliance Advisory Specialist III, Local Governance

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison with the Enterprise Compliance Governance team and other Local Governance Leads
• Maintain a strong understanding of the Compliance Risk Management Framework and applicable laws
• Capture, maintain, and analyze compliance data to ensure consistent risk management
• Manage key reporting activities and evaluate audit, regulatory exam, and self-identified issues for compliance impacts
• Participate in complex projects by providing guidance, advice, and effective challenge
• Prepare agendas, coordinate materials, and facilitate team meetings
• Provide change management support and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Lead and review department training as appropriate

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
• At least 3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or audit
• At least 4 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal business clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• 4+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or audit
• 2+ years of experience in Project Management
• Compliance related certifications such as CRCM, CIPP, or AIGP
