Compliance & Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process vehicle title work for local and out-of-state customers
• Submit title and registration paperwork to appropriate DMV or state agencies
• Follow up on outstanding lien perfections to ensure compliance
• Process customer and vendor checks with high accuracy
• Assist with basic accounting tasks, including accounts payable and journal entries
• Track and maintain records of titles, lien releases, and odometer disclosures
• Perform daily bank deposits and physically transport funds to the bank as needed

Requirements

• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer use
• Valid driver’s license for bank runs
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in title processing or an automotive dealership setting
• Experience with Lightspeed Evo or DealerTrack
