Complex Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and continence care
• Perform safe moving and handling using mobility equipment and walking aids
• Administer medication and manage meal planning/preparation
• Support daily community access, social activities, and appointments
• Drive the client's Motability vehicle for regular outings
• Support communication and decision-making in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005
• Promote independence and record behavioural observations
• Support emotional well-being and respond to periods of anxiety or distress

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence with confidence driving a Motability vehicle (small van)
• Minimum 12 months' experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, or complex care needs
• Experience managing behaviours of concern
• Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Safeguarding Adults
• Ability to undertake sleep-in shifts starting at 5:00pm
• Must be female (genuine occupational requirement)
• Must have the right to work in the UK
