Complex Adult Health/Critical Care Clinical Faculty

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite clinical instruction for nursing students in a clinical setting
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students
• Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, and course objectives through clinical teaching
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback and remediation as needed
• Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student learning needs
• Grade homework, quizzes, tests, and clinical paperwork in a timely manner
• Maintain current knowledge of agency and clinical policies and procedures

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Kansas
• At least two years of professional RN experience within the last five years
• Subject matter expertise in adult health and critical care

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching or precepting experience
• A genuine passion for nursing education and lifelong learning
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
