Competitive Travel Soccer Coach

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop competitive club players following the program's playing philosophy
• Assistant coach for training sessions and lead school-based elective classes
• Implement the Annual Performance Plan including technical, tactical, and physical periodization
• Plan and prepare for all training sessions and matches
• Implement Individual Development Plans (IDP) and complete player evaluations
• Create pre-match objectives and complete post-match reports including video analysis
• Support scouting and talent identification efforts

Requirements

• Experience coaching youth and/or collegiate soccer teams
• Advanced understanding of soccer and strong classroom management skills
• Ability to manage administrative and coaching tasks in an organized manner
• Familiarity with technology systems for player development and scouting
• Ability to develop concepts like teamwork, sportsmanship, and nutrition

Preferred Qualifications

• USSF A, B, or C license, or equivalent international license (FIFA, UEFA, FA)
• USC Premier/Advanced National or National Youth License
• Experience coaching futsal
