Competitive Intelligence Lead

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of Competitive Intelligence to translate CI strategy into repeatable analyses, operating rhythms, and GTM enablement.
• Own high-priority competitor deep dives, market landscape reviews, pricing analyses, and strategic risk assessments.
• Create executive-ready insights to inform product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and investment decisions.
• Develop best-in-class competitive messaging, objection handling, and battlecards for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
• Monitor competitor product launches, model releases, acquisitions, and GTM motions.
• Synthesize complex market information into clear implications and decision-ready narratives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management and Marketing to identify differentiation and sharpen positioning.
• Build and maintain dashboards and knowledge repositories to make competitive movements actionable across the company.

Requirements

• 8-12+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, product strategy, strategy consulting, or corporate strategy.
• Experience scaling or building a competitive intelligence function within a high-growth technology company.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software, AI platforms, SaaS, or cloud infrastructure.
• Exceptional analytical and structured thinking skills with the ability to distill complex markets into clear frameworks.
• Proven experience producing executive-facing strategic analyses and presentations.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment with a strong ownership mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AI, machine learning, foundation models, or developer tools.
• Familiarity with benchmarking methodologies and win/loss programs.
• Background in management consulting or product marketing.
• Experience building reporting systems or knowledge repositories for competitive intelligence.
