Compensation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Administer the total compensation and benefits package to ensure fairness, equity, and competitiveness in alignment with plant strategy.
• Ensure all compensation practices comply with Mexican legislation, including pay equity and human rights standards.
• Manage compensation offers for new candidates and internal promotions according to established internal criteria.
• Design and maintain internal salary structures and pay scales to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
• Evaluate and authorize job descriptions, analyses, and classifications.
• Develop and promote communication strategies to enhance the value and visibility of the Total Rewards offering.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Proven experience in a compensation-specific role or a similar position.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (B2 level or higher).
• Strong data analysis capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data for decision-making.
• Experience in project management and the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of digitalization and process improvement tools.
• In-depth understanding of compensation structures, benchmarking, and market analysis.
• Strategic thinking skills with the ability to align HR practices with business objectives.
