Compensation Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain Kikoff's salary structure end-to-end, including Radford-benchmarked bands, geographic differentials, and annual market refreshes
• Run the annual merit and promotion cycle, including proration logic, manager allocation tools, and calibration support
• Execute the equity program day-to-day, managing new hire grant recommendations, refresh administration, and Carta operations
• Build compensation materials and competitive intelligence for offer construction in partnership with Recruiting
• Own pay transparency and compliance, including pay range posting requirements and pay equity audits
• Drive IPO readiness work, including NEO benchmarking, ESPP/PSU plan design, and equity education
• Build and maintain compensation dashboards and reporting in partnership with People Analytics
• Partner with Finance on compensation accruals, merit pool sizing, and budget reconciliation

Requirements

• 5+ years of compensation experience at a tech company
• Hands-on experience with Radford or another major tech compensation survey
• Strong fluency with equity mechanics, including vesting schedules, refresh design, and Carta workflows
• Deep Excel/Sheets fluency and strong analytical skills
• Familiarity with pay transparency requirements across various jurisdictions (CO, NY, CA, etc.)
• Experience managing merit cycle administration and salary band maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

• Pre-IPO experience, specifically with equity refresh redesign or supporting NEO disclosure prep
• Experience with HRIS compensation modules or tools like Pave and Lattice
• Ability to translate complex compensation logic for non-compensation audiences
