Compensation & Benefits Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of US employee benefits and retirement programs, including enrollments and vendor coordination
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits, and 401(k) plans
• Coordinate new hire onboarding activities related to benefits and compensation
• Support open enrollment activities, including employee education and system setup
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee pay and benefits data within HRIS systems
• Provide backup support for US and Canada payroll processing as needed
• Facilitate employee leave of absence processes, ensuring compliance and proper documentation
• Support compliance and reporting requirements, such as EEO, ACA, and 401(k) audits
• Prepare and manage recurring and ad hoc reporting related to compensation and benefits

Requirements

• 1-2 years of prior Human Resources experience, ideally in benefits or payroll administration
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Working knowledge of core HR processes, policies, and legal/compliance requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HRIS systems such as Namely or ADP
• SHRM or PHR certification
