Compensation & Benefits Associate

Responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including private medical, life insurance, group income protection, and pension.
• Support the full benefits lifecycle, including enrolments, changes, leavers, and qualifying life events.
• Manage benefits onboarding for new joiners and offboarding for leavers.
• Track invoices and process payments across all benefits providers.
• Support pension administration, including auto-enrolment and opt-in/opt-out processes.
• Support end-to-end payroll processing in partnership with local providers using ADP and Workday.
• Prepare payroll inputs such as new hires, leavers, salary changes, and benefits adjustments.
• Conduct payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain audit-ready payroll records and support internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of UK statutory benefits and payroll requirements (HMRC, auto-enrolment).
• Experience maintaining relationships with benefits brokers and vendors.
• Proficiency in using HR and payroll systems, specifically Workday and ADP.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards for data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with European and South American benefits administration.
• Previous experience working within a hedge fund or the financial services industry.
