About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end administration of employee benefits programs across the US, Canada, and Mexico, including health, welfare, and retirement plans.
- Serve as the primary liaison with benefits carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators to monitor service delivery.
- Lead the annual open enrollment process for the Americas region, including project planning and employee communications.
- Support the annual merit and compensation planning cycle, including Workday configuration and administration.
- Partner with HRBPs to provide guidance on total rewards implications for new hires, promotions, and restructurings.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial regulations, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and Mexican Social Security Law.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits administration.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multi-country programs in the Americas (US, Canada, and Mexico).
- Strong working knowledge of US benefits regulatory requirements (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex total rewards concepts to various stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCP, CBP, or PHR/SPHR certification.
- Proficiency with Workday (compensation and benefits modules).
- Knowledge of Canadian provincial benefits and Mexican IMSS/AFORE structures.
- Experience with global job architecture and job evaluation frameworks (e.g., Radford).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish; French is a plus.
- Exposure to equity compensation programs in a public or PE-backed company.
