Company Secretary

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Company complies with applicable legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements
• Advise executive management on governance matters, directors' duties, and regulatory obligations
• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining corporate governance policies and procedures
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and provide timely updates
• Oversee statutory and regulatory filings, including annual reports and trade licence renewals
• Maintain the Company's statutory registers and records
• Ensure corporate records are accurately maintained in physical and electronic formats
• Maintain and regularly update the Company organigram
• Liaise with regulators, authorities, auditors, and legal advisors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Company Secretary, Governance, Compliance, or Legal roles
• Proven experience working within a corporate environment in the UAE or GCC region
• Demonstrated experience managing statutory filings and regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Company Secretary qualification (e.g., CGI/ICSA, ICSI, or equivalent)
