Companion Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engaging conversation to clients
• Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry and linen changing
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals
• Provide medication reminders and assistance
• Offer transportation to and from various appointments
• Help family members learn safe care techniques and interpret care plans

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
• Flexibility to adapt to new situations and schedules
• Tolerance to pets (dogs and/or cats)
• Ability to be reached via phone or email for scheduling and emergencies
• Ability to treat all clients with dignity and respect

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in senior care
• Experience working with dementia patients
