Community Stroke Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for individuals in community settings
• Delivering evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life
• Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals and community agencies to ensure coordinated care
• Providing education and support to clients and their families regarding their condition and treatment options
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with professional and organizational standards

Requirements

• Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
• HCPC registration
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Band 6 Physiotherapist in community settings
• Neurology or stroke experience
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based physiotherapy interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
