Community Reinvestment Outreach Regional Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the regional subject-matter expert for the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), ensuring performance across lending, investment, and service
• Conduct and interpret community needs assessments, specifically focusing on rural and Native American communities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regional presidents, market leaders, and community stakeholders
• Partner with internal lines of business to align on community needs and develop effective market action plans
• Collaborate with CRA Governance on performance tracking, exam preparation, and documentation
• Cultivate partnerships with civic, nonprofit, philanthropic, and advocacy organizations
• Represent BMO at local and national events and speaking engagements
• Manage strategic grants, sponsorships, and community development referrals to maximize impact

Requirements

• Deep expertise in the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)
• Proven experience working with underrepresented communities, nonprofits, and for-profit partners
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills within large, complex organizations
• Experience or familiarity with rural and Native American communities is highly valued
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region (Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah) at least 25% of the time
