Community Psychiatric Nurse

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of service users with complex mental health needs
• Provide comprehensive assessments, care planning, and therapeutic interventions
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and liaise with families and carers
• Contribute to risk assessments and safeguarding procedures
• Perform crisis management and medication administration
• Support recovery-focused care in the community

Requirements

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration
• Minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience in a community mental health setting
• Strong clinical assessment and risk management skills
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage a community caseload
