Community Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement physiotherapy treatment programmes for a diverse range of patients
• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop personalised treatment plans
• Provide hands-on therapy to support patient recovery
• Educate patients and families on exercises and condition management strategies
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in case conferences

Requirements

• Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Experience in community physiotherapy or a similar setting
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
• Knowledge of current physiotherapy practices and evidence-based treatments
• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for community visits
