Community Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist with leasing efforts and integrated marketing programs
• Build relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members
• Communicate professionally with tenants regarding property issues
• Address and resolve emergencies
• Meet company standards for closing ratios and sales calls
• Place approved advertising online or in print
• Process applications and conduct credit checks
• Manage building occupancy and maintenance aspects
• Collect and process rent payments
• Distribute notices for non-payment of rent
• Review expenses and assist with annual budget preparation
• Conduct move-out inspections and process security deposits
• Walk property and units to ensure quality and cleanliness

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of property management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Yardi
• Local market experience
• Unit renovation and lease-up experience
