About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee the community in an efficient and profitable manner by fostering resident and associate satisfaction
- Manage resident relations, including move-in/move-out processes, resident events, and retention programs
- Execute community budgets, rent rolls, projections, and occupancy goals to ensure financial health
- Lead and develop on-site staff through regular feedback, training, and performance reviews
- Coordinate on-site operations including vendor relationships, rent collections, and accounts payable
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and LIHTC regulations
- Maintain immaculate community curb appeal and respond to emergencies or maintenance concerns
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in the property management industry
- 2+ years of experience as a community or property manager
- Knowledge of LIHTC and Tax Credit qualifications
- Proven leadership and ability to diffuse resident concerns
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
