Community Intern

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute local events including parties, meet-ups, and happy hours
• Create and organize social media content to drive regional engagement and channel growth
• Support the maintenance of local online business listings by flagging media alerts and ensuring accuracy
• Engage with the online community via the Yelp app and website
• Work with the Community Manager to prioritize effective local messaging

Requirements

• Current college student, recent graduate, or career changer
• Must reside in Columbus, OH, and have reliable transportation
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Experience with event planning and social media copywriting
• Ability to lift 10 pounds without assistance
• Availability to work 10-19 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend work

Benefits

• Compensation range of $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
