Community Intern

Responsibilities

• Work with the Community Manager to understand the local market and prioritize effective messaging
• Plan and execute local events, including parties, meet-ups, and happy hours
• Create and organize social media content to grow channels and bolster engagement
• Support the maintenance of local online business listings by flagging photos and identifying media alerts
• Engage with the online community via the Yelp app and website to build local connections

Requirements

• Current college student, recent graduate, or career changer
• Must reside in Charleston, SC with reliable transportation
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Experience in event planning and social media copywriting
• Ability to lift 10 pounds without assistance
• Availability to work 10-19 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend work

Benefits

• Compensation range of $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
