Community Intern

Responsibilities

• Work with the Community Manager to understand the local market and prioritize effective messaging
• Plan and execute community events, including local meet-ups, happy hours, and parties
• Create and organize social media content to grow channels and bolster engagement
• Support the maintenance of local online business listings by flagging photos and identifying media alerts or scams
• Engage with the online community via the Yelp app and website to build local connections

Requirements

• Current college student, recent graduate, or career changer interested in community building
• Must reside in the Tampa Bay, FL area with reliable transportation
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Experience and interest in event planning and coordination
• Proficiency in social media copywriting and asset coordination
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift 10 pounds without assistance
• Availability to work 10-19 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend work
