About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct programmatic support to County Agents, Educators, Coordinators, and Faculty across multiple counties.
  • Plan, implement, evaluate, and report Community Health programs in alignment with USDA outputs and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a statewide integrator to ensure consistent delivery of Community Health programming and strengthen ties between Cooperative Extension and campus-based programs.
  • Initiate and design participatory projects, ensuring rigorous data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support professional development for faculty, staff, and interns.
  • Lead or participate in proposal development for Extension, Education, and Research initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between Cooperative Extension/CISC and Public Health programs to address community health needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or a closely related field (Master's degree preferred for Level II).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare or community health settings (Level I).
  • 6-9 years of experience including support for multi-county or collaborative programs (Level II).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience including leadership in large-scale or statewide programming (Level III).
  • Strong expertise in program planning, evaluation, and data collection/analysis.
  • Knowledge of USDA regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to travel statewide and engage with diverse community stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Science degree in Public Health or a closely related field.
  • Experience working within Cooperative Extension systems or land-grant mission environments.
  • Proven track record in grant and proposal development.
