Community & Events Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site point of contact for community groups, neighbors, schools, and civic organizations
• Support community outreach efforts, local initiatives, and sponsorships
• Coordinate site tours, community meetings, and outreach events
• Plan and manage event logistics including scheduling, vendors, catering, and invitations
• Manage project-related events such as groundbreakings, milestones, and ribbon cuttings
• Assist with local project communications and prepare event materials like signage and agendas
• Track and organize records of community interactions and outreach efforts
• Work with the on-site project team to align community efforts with jobsite operations
• Support planning for intern and workforce-related events and site orientations

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in community relations, event coordination, or communications
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently in an active jobsite environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable interacting with the public and representing a construction project

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with construction, large developments, or industrial projects
• Familiarity with the Monrovia / Morgan County area
